We have been providing roof inspection and maintenance services to residential and commercial customers in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1990.INSPECTION & MAINTENANCE PROGRAM
With this service, you will have all roofs, chimneys, flashings, gutters and downspouts inspected. We will complete a 23-point checklist reporting the current condition of your roof system. We will make any minor repairs if applicable. If extensive work is needed, it will be reported to the owner and followed with a detailed written estimate. This service will be completed once yearly, and you are required to be home during this service.
Roofing maintenance is completed on a time and material basis. Labor is charged at $75.00 per man-hour. We usually send 2 men ($150.00 per hour) plus materials. There is a minimum charge of $150.00. The time begins when the crew arrives, there is no charge for travel time.
COMMON ROOF PROBLEMS TO CATCH EARLY
Roof Leaks/Moisture: Did you know that a roof can have silent leaks for years before evidence presents itself? Most homeowners don’t pay attention to their roof until there are visible signs like water spots, peeling paint or disintegrating wallpaper.

Poor Installation: Poor installation is one of the most common causes of roof damage. Depending on which source you read, a roof should last anywhere from 15 to 30 years. Poorly installed roofs may last significantly fewer years before they start to present problems to homeowners.
Wrinkling, buckling, contraction of sheets, water damage and more can all be attributed to poor roof installation.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU HAVE A ROOF INSPECTION DONE?
Many roofers advise that homeowners have two roof inspections done each year; one in the fall and one in the spring. These times are recommended because they fall on either side of winter, when roofs need to be evaluated for moisture damage that could have been caused by snow, ice and/or rain.
An inspection in the fall helps ensure that minor problems don't become major problems, while a spring inspection helps evaluate any damage done during the winter that may prove costly with the heavy rains of the spring that are so common.
